2020 & 2021 HIGHLIGHTS

The International Motor Film Awards celebrates outstanding work from the automotive film and television industry. Taking place on the 15th September, leading creatives and petrol heads alike gathered from around the globe to attend the award ceremony to celebrate their achievements.
Taking place at the stunning Victorian venue The Grand in London, guests were greeted upon entry by a display of specialist vehicles from Auto Action Developments. Parked outside the venue was their Can-Am Maverick RX3, a turbo charged pursuit vehicle with 300bhp. Inside the reception, the agile single seater Array Buggy, with 150bhp, stunt prepped to drift with the capability of off road filming.
The night started off with guests having a drink with some live jazz to relax before the show began. Photos were taken, popcorn was snacked on and champagne was popped. Inside the venue on display was a Yamaha 450cc tracking bike also provided by Auto Action Developments. After the meet-and-greet, guests took to their seats and fastened their seatbelts, as nominated films were screened on the giant screen with impressive sound.
During the show guests were served complimentary dinner and bottles, while the jazz band played stings while the guest made their way to the stage.
Winners took home a silver or golden conrod; bespoke trophies handcrafted using a variety of materials and manufacturing techniques. Polished aluminium, heated stainless steel, laser cut perspex, carved wood and galvanised steel come together to form trophies that stand over 30cm tall. The Grand Prix award winner received the coveted golden conrod; a trophy featuring a gold conrod, wheel and galvanised laurel, as well as a brushed gold scroll and plaque to stand out from the rest.
