2022 HIGHLIGHTS

Back again, with our biggest year yet! Sold out attendance with all nominee tables full with guests joining us from around the world. The International Motor Film Awards celebrates the very best of work from the automotive film and television industry.
Taking place at the stunning, newly refurbished Victorian venue The Grand in London, guests arrived to the sight of a selection of specialist vehicles and equipment supplied by TRAKTION. Parked outside the venue was their MotoCrane equipped 512bhp Porsche Cayenne, with a display inside of an electric trike, RC buggy capable of 30mph, and a racing drone holding a RED Komodo.
The night started off with guests having a drink with some live jazz to relax before the show began. Photos were taken, popcorn was snacked on and champagne was popped. After the meet-and-greet, guests took to their seats and fastened their seatbelts, as nominated films were screened on the giant screen with impressive sound.
During the show guests were served complimentary dinner and bottles, while the jazz band played stings while the guest made their way to the stage.
Winners took home a silver or golden conrod; bespoke trophies handcrafted using a variety of materials and manufacturing techniques. Polished aluminium, heated stainless steel, laser cut perspex, carved wood and galvanised steel come together to form trophies that stand over 30cm tall. The Grand Prix award winner received the coveted golden conrod; a trophy featuring a gold conrod, wheel and galvanised laurel, as well as a brushed gold scroll and plaque to stand out from the rest.
