The Grand is a Grade II listed Victorian building originally built as a 3,000 audience capacity music hall in 1900. In 1901 they began screening films and in 1927 converted to a full time cinema- continuing on through two World Wars! There is no doubt that this venue will have screened some of the original films that established the film industry of today. Now in 2019, it's used for live music, club nights and movie screenings; featuring the UK's largest sports screen. That balance between Victorian architecture and updated technology make it our choice of venue for the screening, awards and afterparty.
